Business referral

Some businesses can increase their income with referrals. As a serious property investor I had lots of contacts and people that were vital to my own business, and the more time I spent around other investors and people saw my style of investing and wanted to know how I did it - this sometimes involved contacting members of my power team in property.

Gradually as I began to organise events and meetings for property investors, and the online discussion forums grew - I found that the people that worked for me were offering me referral fees if I sent my friends and collegues to them - mostly I was making between 50 and 500 a referral!

Take a look around your own business, who could you send people too, who already has a referral system in place? (as these are the easier ones to work with)

If you offer properfty deals, you could earn commission off solicitors, brokers and finders / suppliers by referring clients to them.

I have lots of experience in referrals and built up a file of contracts between myself and people I sent my clients too. Different companies track their referrals in different ways ... for example Tax Cafe run an online affiliate program, so if I recommend a book to a client, and they buy the book by my link on my website - I will make a very small percentage of the sale.

My morals are pretty high, and I know lots of companies who would pay comissions for sales - but I would only recommend people I know and trust. (My website is my life and reputation, I can't afford to send people to companies that I dont trust.)
